Vice President, Research and Client Services

 

Phoenix Marketing International is looking for a senior researcher and account manager within the Healthcare industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to broaden the scope of their professional responsibilities. The position works remotely and is located in the PA, NJ, NY area for client interaction and is responsible for overseeing the research relationship and project execution with a specific set of clients. Responsibilities include all aspects of research projects for these clients, including consultation, discussing strategic marketing issues, and preparing innovative proposals. The position will also work closely with other analysts who will often manage and execute details of projects, but this individual will be involved in all client projects at some level, anywhere from oversight and consulting to actual full execution. This role is focused on both developing business as well as delivery of high quality market research projects.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skillset:


  • 6+ years primary research experience including 4+ years experience doing independent analysis and report writing for custom research projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity from start to finish with no supervision.
  • Confirmed ability to work independently with clients to develop solutions to critical questions/ issues and provide high level consultative capabilities.
  • Experience managing and mentoring researchers, including overseeing and editing their work.
  • Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Experience in research studies involving advanced quantitative methods such as segmentation, regression, and choice modeling.
  • Proven ability to effectively present proposals and research results to clients.
  • Creative approach to study methodologies, offering innovative yet sound and logical designs.
  • Knowledgeable about client business issues in the healthcare/ pharmaceutical industry.
  • Preferred: Significant experience in oncology, MR vendor experience, Master’s degree in related field, SPSS experience.

Vice President, Converged Technology and Media

 

PMI is seeking to fill a Vice President position within our Converged Technology and Media group. This is a full-time, sales position, with a competitive salary and benefits package. While this position will report to our Horsham, Pennsylvania office, Phoenix has many employees that work from satellite offices throughout the U.S. For this current opening, Phoenix is looking for a candidate to grow business and work from either the west coast or the southern portion of the United States.

 

The Vice President will be involved in the following aspects of our Converged Technology and Media division:


  • Proactive management of relationships with current clients
  • Generation of new clients
  • Production of client proposals and presentations
  • Development of the business strategy and go-to-market plan for the Converged Technology & Media division
  • Participation in all areas of research design, consultation and analysis
  • Design and project management of new custom research products
  • Management of day-to-day client interactions and internal processes to ensure perfect completion of client engagements
  • Providing professional customer service to internal and external clients

Statistical Analyst, Business Intelligence

 

PMI is seeking to fill a Statistical Analyst position in our Business Intelligence group. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Statistical Analyst will be involved in the following functions of our Business Intelligence division:


  • Provide support for client analytical projects within the Business Intelligence group as well as other business units within the Company
  • Organize data from disparate sources in a form that can be analyzed
  • Develop a descriptive “story” from an initial data exploration
  • Construct the model outcome variables and the likely independent variables that will drive the outcome variables
  • Construct high r-square models
  • Organize of the output in a way that is reasonable simple to understand
  • Interpret the model in a business context

The successful candidate will possess the following skillset:


  • Basic data exploration including the interpretation of Chi square statistics, confidence levels, and T Tests
  • Knowledge of data transformation techniques
  • Knowledge of linear regression, logistic regression and pooled linear regression, vector auto-regression
  • Multiple regression including the use of quadratic coefficients, interaction terms, and dummy variables
  • Some level of Bayesian inference
  • Factor analysis
  • Principal components analysis
  • At minimum, a basic level of hierarchical and unsupervised segmentation techniques
  • Use of SPSS in both interactive and syntax mode
  • BA or BS degree in Statistics or other related math discipline
  • Skilled in MS Office Applications
  • Must be Detail Oriented & Organized
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Programming skills in basic, Xcelsius, Dundas, etc. preferred but not necessary
  • Experience performing marketing mix models, consumer and customer segmentations preferred but not necessary

Research Analyst

 

PMI is seeking to fill a Research Analyst position within our Converged Technology and Media group. This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package. This position will report to our Horsham, PA office.

 

The Research Analsyt will be involved in the following aspects of our Converged Technology and Media division


  • Development and Management of Research Projects from Proposal through Final Report.
  • Build and use survey research databases to tabulate and analyze survey research data
  • Provide professional customer service to internal and external clients
  • Work with team to develop and recommend research methods and project design.
  • Analyze current research. Evaluate latest research developments to expand market research methods.
  • Ability to use advanced statistical techniques to develop and run data models such as regression, factor discriminant, correspondence, segmentation, conjoint and discrete choice a plus.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and has a proven track record for producing insightful analysis.  Also required:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3 to 5 years minimum experience in analysis and marketing research
  • High proficiency in survey research techniques and use or knowledge of SPSS and/or SAS
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong logical skills associated with numbers
  • The ability to quantitatively analyze data
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – used to correspond clearly and concisely with clients, outside vendors, and internal department
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc)
  • MS Office Applications
  • Must be Detail-Oriented & Organized
  • Proven Client Service and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to work with and train junior staff.
