Millionaire households’ preference for John McCain in the November election continues to decline, while Barack Obama continues to gain support, this according to the most recent nationwide affluent survey conducted by Phoenix Marketing International.
In surveys conducted every other month by Phoenix, which include nearly 500 households with $1 million or more in investable assets (liquid wealth), preference for John McCain has declined from 57% in August to 45% in October. During the same time period, support for Barack Obama has almost doubled, from 24% to 40%. However, there is still a sizeable portion of undecided millionaires (13%).
