- Airport - A major US airport desired to gather customer data and tenant data to make strategic and operational adjustments to its existing business model to ensure all Airport customers receive .world class. service. They selected Phoenix Marketing International to conduct both a three year long Customer Satisfaction tracking study and three annual Tenant Surveys. The purpose of the surveys is to understand current Airport customer perceptions about important items such as the airport facility, staff professionalism and service.
- Destination - A Convention and Visitors Bureau selected Phoenix Marketing International to conduct research among leisure travelers and meeting & event planners to enhance their strategic planning and marketing. The projects included competitive analyses, brand perceptions and visitor profiles.
- Hospitality - A major hotel chain was seeking to determine the perception of several of its brands within Canada, the results of which would be compared to a domestic study previously conducted by another firm. The intelligence would then be used to help formulate a marketing strategy for Canadian guests. The client was also looking to Phoenix for a more cost effective study design that had been used for the U.S. segment.
- Tourist Attractions - An organization located in the Midwest operated a tourist attraction that included rides, a petting zoo, restaurant, attractions and arts & craft shows. The organization wished to develop a long term strategic plan for the full development of the property. The plans under evaluation were for the development of a themed multi-purpose retail/dining/entertainment complex, which would also include unique exhibits, attractions, gardens, and a themed hotel with an indoor water park.
