Clinton National Airport installs new gate seating with power outlets

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Next time you visit the Clinton National Airport, you won’t have to worry about finding a place to charge your devices.

Little Rock is the first airport in the country to offer in-seat power outlets at every gate. Each seat has access to both 110 volt and 5Amp quick USB.

It’s all part of the airport’s $25 million concourse renovation project.

Other enhancements coming include a new Wi-Fi system, more restrooms, larger arrival and departure monitors and additional restaurants and shops.

As Arkansas’ largest commercial airport serving nearly two million passengers annually, Clinton National is home to five airlines with approximately 70 daily arrivals and departures.

The airport has earned a 98 percent overall passenger satisfaction score by Phoenix Marketing International following a total of nearly $90 million of renovations.
