June 9, 2020: Pulse Report – COVID-19 Consumer Sentiment

Fielded: June 5, 2020
Reported: June 9, 2020

The purpose of this report is to provide ongoing visibility into shifts in consumer sentiment, activities, and concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bank of America debuted on the list this week, likely due to its announcement last week of a $1B commitment to help address economic & racial disparities made worse by the pandemic. Amazon, Walmart, and Ford still hold the top three spots on the list for the fifth consecutive week.

Additionally, this report captures U.S. consumers’ feelings about their personal financial circumstance and their anticipation of the future business and financial environment in the country overall. This is an ongoing study that will be fielded and updated on a weekly basis.
